A black wool and nylon puffer jacket from Rick Owens’ Fall/Winter 2011 “Limo” collection, often referred to by collectors as the Transat high-neck jacket. Constructed with a structured wool body and a dramatically padded circular collar that can be worn zipped up into a cocoon shape or opened to sit wider around the neck. Features a cropped silhouette, elongated ribbed cuffs, and a heavy RiRi zipper. The contrast between the tailored body and inflated collar reflects Owens’ recurring balance of structure and distortion.
